Catering Client: Jason Gotleib, 1st AD / Sam Jang-Milsten, Producer

Event: Craft Service for 16 to 30

Daddy’s Little Meatball is Yael Grunseit’s short thesis film for the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. It was shot over 5 days with a fluctuating crew of 16 to 30 members in New York City’s Chinatown and midtown at the Javitz Center.

I set up a temporary kitchen in a Chinatown apartment and carted lunch to a set location a few blocks away. While it was cold outside, we could provide hot meals for the crew and talent. Most of the crew worked on Dylan Rizzo’s short Safe in My Skin last year, so it was great to feed them again.
